The scenes should go like this:
-Protagonist/Julia gets kidnapped
-Ashley beats the Frost Queen (might require the Berserk spell, I'm not sure on that one)
-After defeating her, but BEFORE Ashley breaks her neck (once it's revealed she's playing dead), use a Chakram from the menu.
-Speak to the twins at the Monster Ranch. Choose either option. Julia must be in her Normal personality and, AFAIK, be present in the party (3 people in the dungeon).
-Go to the stable (other room in the Monster Ranch) and speak to Erin.
