Saving Ashley's mind causes Jane to propose you to write a magical contract.
If you choose to sign it, she's able to make you use any one spell she wishes at a point in the future.
Or, you know, you could just go ahead and steal it.
It's not very long at the moment, so you might have more fun checking the List of Transcripts for another transcript.
The Magic Contract
Jane: So, are you ready?
Protagonist: For what, exactly?
Jane: Just a formality. I don't have a task ready for you yet, but now that your friend is taken care of we should arrange the contract.
Protagonist: Contract?
Jane: Of course, I did risk performing my half ahead of time, dear. Technically, you could walk out without signing a thing and I couldn't really stop you. Could I?
Protagonist: Are you... Trying to-
Jane: I'm not suggesting anything, just letting you know that I am going out of my way for you more than I should. Now, this contract will magically obligate you to casting one spell of my request at a future date, in exchange for one spell of your choice for me to cast. I've noted here that my side of the contract has been fulfilled, so I just need you to sign right here.
Sign the Contract
Protagonist: That sounds fair... Huh, that is really concise.
Jane: I try to keep it very simple, dear. Magical contracts can be a bit dangerous if you write too much. Gives too much room for misinterpretation.
Dan: Alright. I've signed it.
Jane: Thank you, dear. I'll let you know when I have a task ready for you.
