The numbers work differently, because Val always screwed me over. But I wasn't talking about that. Looks like there are two GOODs we need to separate then - one GOOD that boosts Val's trust and the other GOOD that Want to be your slave and hence contribute to the good ending you'll have if you pass Val's trial. Of the examples named so far, Angie would be GOOD that boosts the Want to be your slave, but BAD that hurts Val's trust, while Jane's testimony is BAD that hurts the Want to be your slave, but from what you said, GOOD that boosts Val's trust. When you find Ashley, do not break her mind, but do not totally fix her mind either, Julia's testimony is GOOD that wants to be your slave, but BAD that hurts Val's trust (one of the few seemingly good testimonies I've seen that actually have a blue minus when said).
