Magic Contract Route: Difference between revisions

After freeing Ashley's mind from the Berserker, Jane asks the Protagonist to sign a magical contract. In return for using a spell the Protagonist requested, Jane will be able to ask the Protagonist to use a spell of her choice in the future.

Note that this is just a general outline for the route. It is not a walkthrough.

Discussing the Contract

After fixing Ashley's mind, Jane presents the contract to the Protagonist.

The Protagonist asks what the deal with the contract is, causing her to say it's simply a formality, though she knows she's at a risk due to having used her spell ahead of time.

If the Protagonist signs the contract, s/he says it's a very basic contract - nothing really to misunderstand. She explains that she prefers to keep contracts like that to avoid misinterpretation.

If the Protagonist refuses to sign it, she'll act disappointed and explain in depth what the contract is for. To avoid it being used improperly, she plans on disposing of it, winking at the Protagonist. The Protagonist can either steal it or just leave it where it is.

If the Protagonist signs it, after compleing Jane's fourth private class, Jane will tell the Protagonist it's time for the Protagonist to uphold his/her side of the bargain. There's two possible options for this scene to play out.

The first is to simply let it finish. It makes Molly become Jane's slave and you cannot enslave Molly, though you can still bring her with you into the Dungeon, should you want to.

The other option is to cast Suppression on Jane on the line "I want you to cast Suppression-". Doing this enslaves Jane and Molly gets shocked at the fact that it was planned for her to be enslaved.

As of version 0.40, it became possible to give it to Reese to sign.

Giving it to Reese causes a short scene, in which Reese signs it. It has no further use after that.

Fulfilling the Contract

As of version 0.47, after signing the contract and doing the first four of Jane's private classes, you can speak to Jane again and a scene plays out.

During the scene, there are two possible outcomes: either the Protagonist complete it without interruption which will result in Molly being enslaved but counting as Jane's slave rather than the Protagonist's slave.

Otherwise, when Jane says that she wants the Protagonist to cast Suppression, the Protagonist can cast it on Jane, who will then count as the Protagonist's slave. Molly is grateful she didn't become enslaved and asks to speak to the Protagonist later on.
