School Dungeon

The dungeon is a maze that's beneath the school. Students with permission can go there, in parties of up to three. To obtain permission, simply go to Jane's first class after obtaining magic.

Death is supposedly not an uncommon thing in the dungeon, making it weird why people would willingly send their children there. However, it's implied that the barrier surrounding the town - which is used to keep the town safe - require powerful magic in order to stay up. As such, it's highly likely that they are sent there to become strong enough to keep the barrier up in case something happens.

The Protagonist is always brought, along with up to two other members of the players choice.

If you've done the Submissive plotline, you can only choose one person to bring with you, as Cassandra will permanently be in your second slot unless you decide to break out of that relationship with her.

If you're on the Submissive Route but became Julia's slave instead and fixed Ashley's mind, choosing to bring Ashley will automatically fill Julia in the other slot. You can, however, bring Julia and any other character of your choice, should you so please.

There's currently twenty-one floors, six Sigils and twelve Secret Notes, though only nine can be found. The ninth one contains four notes - one for each class.

For a list of monsters found in the dungeon, refer to the Monster List.

If neither Val nor Sarah is chosen during a NG+, it's possible to have a full party prior to obtaining Sarah. This is currently only confirmed for the Bimbo World Ending, if you choose Molly, since Val joins by default to give the Protagonist magic. Julia during the Mysterious Book Ending simply leaves the party at once after obtaining your magic from Val. She's next encountered after attending a Secret Note class in the library, as usual.

During the Faculty Control NG+, if Victoria is chosen, she leaves after finding out the Protagonist has no magic.

Floor 22

  • This is as far as you can go as of version 0.61.
    • This is the first floor to contain an enemy from a previous floor that is affected by the floors layout.

Trivia

  • As of version 0.34, the floors 14 and 15 were added. Those are the first floors to have water in them, while all previous floors have only had regular ground.
  • The 21st floor is the first floor to have two different layouts.
    • The default layout is a straight line, which is done by not bringing Julia. Bringing her opens up two new rooms and a scene.
  • Drape's third note was supposed to be on floor 23. The reason it's on floor 20 is unknown.
  • As of version 0.61, floor 22 was added. It's the first floor with fire or lava related to it.
