Secret Notes

(Not to be confused with Jane's Private Classes).

Note.

Secret Notes are notes hidden in the dungeon by the teachers at the school. Finding a note allows the Protagonist's team experience related to that type of spell. Note that only the people in the active party will gain experience from the lesson. In other words, even if you have - for example - Molly in your party, if she's not in your active party when you go to a Physical class, she won't gain Physical magic experience.

Finding the first one and attending that class (Ms. Rack) unlocks Julia in the library (though any lesson is possible to unlock Julia, Ms. Rack's is the earliest possible one). Giving her enough notes unlocks information about the others in the school along with the ability to watch your slaves (or Julia, if given enough notes but not yet enslaved) topless.

After giving Julia three notes, she will help the Protagonist if trapped by Drape.

If you give Julia four hidden notes, it's possible to start dating her.

All lessons gives fifty (50) Proficiency in that school.

As of version 0.62, there's twelve hidden notes, though only nine can be found.

Ms. Rack's Hidden Notes

On floor three, in the large room near the middle, check the top.
On floor ten, go all the way to the top and check the right-most split. It's in the left "fork".
On floor twenty, enter the bottom right room. It's in the bottom side of the room.

Dr. Tiff's Hidden Notes

On floor five, check the first room on the upper left. It's in the bottom left corner.
On floor twelve, head to the next floor stairs. From there, head to the small path above you to the right.
On floor twenty, enter the bottom right room. It's in the bottom side of the room.

Drape's Hidden Notes

On floor seven, check the lower left room. It's in the lower left corner.
On floor fifteen, go to the upper right room. It's on the far right wall, between the two water puddles.
On floor twenty, enter the bottom right room. It's in the bottom side of the room.

Jane's Hidden Notes

On floor eight, check the room on the upper right. It's in the middle.
On floor seventeen, head to the middle left room. It's in the dead end.
On floor twenty, enter the bottom right room. It's in the bottom side of the room.

Trivia

If you try to give the notes to Julia in the wrong order, she'll remark that the note is a fake or it's out of order.
- If you can't find the next one, ask her for information and she will tell you what floor it is on.
  - If you already found all, she'll simply say she heard nothing noteworthy.
It's implied that she already knows of the third floor note, as grabbing a latter note will cause her to give information about a later note, but never the third floor one.
There was a bug prior to version 0.31 that, if you entered a battle on the same tile you stepped on a Secret Note, the battle would take priority and you'd have to fight - or escape - then move in any direction for the Secret Note to spawn.
It takes one note to get Intel on the other characters and watching your slaves topless, two to see her topless, three to save the Protagonist from Drape's trap, and four to date her (assuming you didn't already find Ashley).
Floor 20 is the first floor to have multiple Secret Notes.
- Drape remarks during his third class that his should have been on floor 23, but none of the students dares to correct him...
