A book has shown up out of the blue in the Item Shop.

It costs a whooping 10,000 Gems to purchase.

However, it might lead you down a path you never knew existed...

This transcript starts from when you give it to Julia.

Julia reads the Book

Julia: Hm, what's this now?

Protagonist: This book was for sale at the item shop and thought you might want to take a look at it.

Julia: ... It certainly has a... Foreboding atmosphere around it.

Protagonist: Think you can figure out what the deal is with it?

Julia: Leave it with me, I'll have it figured out in no time.

Protagonist: Alright, I'll come back later then.

Protagonist: Julia?

Julia: Oh... Hm.. This is embarassing.

Protagonist: Were you...

Julia: Touching myself? Yes.

Protagonist: Is there... A particular reason or...

Julia: This book is... very compelling.

Protagonist: So.. It's porn then?

Julia: If it was merely pornographic, I would read it at home. No... This book is doing something to me. I can feel it worming it's way into my mind with every word...

(Suggest she stop)

Protagonist: If you know what it's doing, why not stop?

Julia: Obviously, I came to that conclusion several chapters ago, however I am too far in to stop now. The only way I could possibly stop would be if someone stronger than I am were to take the book from my hands.

(Take the book)

[Understanding her meaning, you snatch the book out of her hands, careful not to let yourself look at the pages inside. She glares at you sharply for a moments before taking a deep breath.]

Julia: ... You may go now. Before my emotions force me to act irrationally.

Protagonist: Are you going-

Julia: Now. Go.

(Allow her to keep reading/Tell her to keep reading)

(Both leads to the same conversation.)

Protagonist: Alright. I will let you finish reading then.

Julia: Thank you. I only have a few chapters left, though I might reread it just to make sure everything sticks. Not that it will be necessary. I am all but enthralled by the book already. Perhaps to you, as well. Since you are it's owner...
