Once again, I did NOT speak about Val or her testimony. Neither did I speak about Val giving me bad testimony based on Erin. As I said in my previous comment, Val always screwed me over no matter what, so apparently I lost some trust somewhere else as I for example did ask Val to make her mother drunk. But that ain't important.
I spoke about the need to differentiate between two types of GOOD testimonies, Val's trust is important for whether the good ending fires, or not... But then if Val doesn't screw you over, you get different endings based on how much % of slaves wanted to stay with you, In particular, this is from your own walkthrough guide:
If you manage to get the required trust, one of five endings plays out.
- If less than 60% of your slaves wants to remain your slaves, you get an ending in which you control the town.
- If more than 60% of your slaves wants to remain your slaves, you get an ending in which you control the town though with alternate dialogue.
Therefore it is important to differentiate between GOOD as in boosting Val's trust and GOOD as in boosting the want to stay your slave count. Jane's testimony may boost Val's trust, but it does not boost the Want to be your slave count and therefore does not contribute to the alternate dialogue ending.
