I'm not making an excuse. I'm not saying "I'm not responsible for my actions, because I have autism" I'm saying "I know I have autism, therefor, I know there is a very real possibility that I did something to legitimately offend him without realizing it." I am saying it to mean, I don't know what I did but I understand that it is very possibly my fault.
The last time we talked he told me he finally got his paypal working and wanted to start being paid for bug testing and I immediately agreed to pay him; I've been WANTING to start paying him for a while for all the help he's given me, and only couldn't because his paypal wasn't working. Because he said he didn't know how much to ask for, I suggested we track how long he bug tests and to pay him an hourly rate for his time. I thought it seemed like a reasonable idea and he acted like it was reasonable at the time. Then just... Out of nowhere he says that his trust was violated and quit? I don't understand what happened.
Anyways, thanks for letting me know he is okay. I'm not happy that I upset him so badly without realizing it, but it is a relief to know that he is not depressed in a more general sense.
