Angie is Derrick's mother and is the owner of the Item Shop.
She holds no qualms in using Molly to run the store for her, for free to boot.
When she finds out that Molly has been giving the Protagonist free items, she has Molly fired and has Derrick instead work in the Item Shop for her.
Angie has a fairly obvious dislike towards the fact that Derrick attends school and wishes for him to get kicked out of school, instead focusing on working in the store.
She gives him an ultimatum: if he gets enough credits to pass the school year in a single week, she'll let him continue. Otherwise, he's dropping out and working in the store.
