"I mean, yeah... I'm not allowed to hide my face at the school so..." - Kate
Kate is a student in the school.
Meeting Rescue Girl
While in the dungeon, either fight against a solo enemy or as long as the left enemy is alive, if the party's HP is a total of 20% or less (for example, total party HP is 1000 and you have 200 HP left across the party), Kate appears in the guise of Rescue Girl, finishing off the enemy and saving you from it.
Kate Stars In...
Kate stars in the following routes:
- Kate's Resisted Charm, which... is one hell of a route.
- Kate's Investigations, in which she tries to find out more about a certain individual.
Enslaving Kate
The next encounter with her takes place outside the school, where she asks if you recognize her. Choosing the former increases her affection towards you, while the latter doesn't, but nothing else changes between the two.
After meeting her, you'll encounter her in the dungeon again by simply waiting around this time.
This time, you'll be given two options: help her finish the monsters, or just watch her.
Choosing the latter will make the Protagonist remark that she looks worn out. When she says it's nothing she can't handle, it becomes possible to charm her or make her into a slave. Note that to use either of those spells, the Protagonist must either be alone in the party, or have only have slaves and/or charmed people in the party.
In case you turn her into a slave, she'll shrug off the spell. Don't worry, it's not because your level is shit tier; she just has a lot of willpower.
Heading into the school again, she can be found, where she asks the Protagonist to enslave her again. Head home and she's now your slave.
As of version 0.60, she's now capable of adding to the party.
Note that if you choose to cast Charm instead of Suppression, she'll instead show up in the forest (read "Dating Kate" below).
Faculty Control Ending
Testimony type: None.
Kate is unable to provide good nor bad testimony when confronting Drape, due to it not yet being added to the game.
Dating Kate
There's two ways to date Kate, the first one involving the Charm spell and the other one involves actually dating with her.
Charm route
Next, head to the Forest where she'll be trying to avoid the Protagonist. During this scene, choose the first option. Head home and she'll be in the Protagonist's living room assuming you have reached the fifteenth floor of the dungeon. The Protagonist can either agree to charm her to make her fall in love with the Protagonist again, choose to instead enslave her (NOTE: this will NOT make her count as your slave, due to it not being added to the game) or flatout refuse, causing her to sadly leave.
Note: This does not seem to lead to going on actual dates with her - she just seems to be your girlfriend, regardless of your relationship with other people.
Flirt route
To date Kate (rhyme not intentional) properly, you need to do the following things.
First, you need to actually encounter her by dropping your party's HP below 20%. After being saved by her, go to the front of the school and speak to her. Choosing that you don't recognize her gives an affection boost. Head back into the dungeon and wait for her to spawn, which happens by itself after a few minutes of waiting.
During this scene, choose either option and head back outside. Next, head to the town square.
Speak to Kate here and she'll confess being curious about a certain individual. Agree that you find her odd, but do not help her out. Kate will go and speak to her. Speak to Kate for a short scene.
Next, head back to the front of the school and speak to her. On either the line "I was wondering if you would like to hang out sometime." OR "Between my patrols and investigations, I mean..." cast Flirt on her.
Head home and then exit back to the street. Kate will be there and waiting for you. Choose to be with her (either invite her inside or invite her to the restaurant).
Next, if you haven't already, you must reach floor 12 of the dungeon. Head back home, then to the streets and Kate will appear in front of you again. Again, choose to hang out with her.
