Bugs: Difference between revisions

A list of known bugs in Adventure High.

This list is updated between... whenever two updates are released. Bugs not fixed in a previous update is simply added to the new update.

To add a bug to the list, write it down in a comment; an admin or similar will add it once they see it.

Please be accurate when reporting a bug, if possible list those things:

-The issue at hand (such as a scene not loading)

-What version you're playing

-Did you download the game? Do you play online? If so, what browser? Did you play on the blog or another site?

Bug types

Incorrect Text

Write down in as much detail as possible in a comment below of what scene it is and when the jumbled text happens.

Jumbled text means that the dialogue advances as normal, but some lines are too high or too low, making it hard - or impossible - to read.

Text that's on the wrong line (e.g one line too high up) fits under here.

Typos/grammar errors are not listed.

Incorrect Scenes

Talking to a character that leads to you speaking with another character are always a bad thing.

Gameplay Bugs

You know that feeling when you're minding your own business and suddenly the games "HAH NOPE"?

Yeah, that kinda shit is annoying. That's what this section is here for. If you find a gameplay bug, list it as such. Examples includes game freezing for no reason or not being able to advance to certain scenes.

Spell Bugs

Exactly what it sounds like. When a Spell won't do what it's intended to do, the text is wrong or the icon disappears on you. Or, perhaps, the spell disappears because you learn another spell. Also listed: spells that gives the wrong kind of Proficiency (for example, a Physical spell giving Destructive Proficiency).

Misc. Bugs

Not sure what category the bug falls under? List it as a Misc Bug. It's either moved to the correct section or it's left there, if there is no fitting section.

Incorrect Text

Some text is a different font, causing the text to run off the screen.

Incorrect Scenes

Talking to Goth Val during Jane's Private Lessons causes the scene to take place in the school, rather than in the streets.

Gameplay Bugs

Starting the Redemption Route and releasing at least one slave, then enslaving Dr. Tiff, then speaking to Val causes both scenes to play out. First, it's the one where she gets mad about enslaving Dr. Tiff. The next is the one where she acts as if you're on the Redemption Route and willingly joins the party again.
If you're dating Dr. Tiff and Molly at the same time, the scene where Molly ends up in Dr. Tiff's "care" does not play out and Molly instead shows up in the hallway right at once.
- Related to the above bug: If you start dating Molly, then release your slaves and cast Flirt on Dr. Tiff, losing a battle will instantly trigger the scene in which Molly is tied up, even though you're not dating Dr. Tiff yet.
If you haven't enslaved Julia prior to breaking Ashley's mind, Julia is not possible to add to the party.
When you transform into Val, you can do the transformation scene with Cassandra as if you were Sarah.
After Cassandra gets transformed on the Bimbo's Gone Wild route, she's stuck in a nervous expression, making it impossible to do any scenes with her (including changing personality) as they all rely on her having her normal expression.
Transforming into F!Reese (non-slave Reese) in the streets makes you appear as M!Reese instead but the CG shows M!Reese rather than F!Reese.
