"Just call me Jane, dear."

Jane Smith, the Mysterious Teacher

Jane is one of the teachers at the school and is teaching in Destructive Magic.

She has a very laid back personality but is more than willing to help the Protagonist out when saving his/her friends.

Despite her relaxed attitude, she seems to have a sharp mind and seems to always think two steps ahead. She dislikes, for undisclosed reasons, to be called "Ms. Smith", instead telling her students to call her "Jane".

She holds personal lessons to help the Protagonist understand his/her magic better while also giving enough credits for Molly to pass her school year.

If not enslaved and you save Ashley's mind, the Protagonist can speak to her and get asked to sign a magical contract. In doing so, the Protagonist will have to use one spell of Jane's liking at a future date, as she used a spell in order to fix Ashley's mind. This hints quite heavily at the fact she might secretly not be as caring as she lets on.

Choosing not to sign it causes her to gain some affection towards the Protagonist but you're still able to steal it.

As of version 0.40, you can steal it and have Reese sign it.

Likewise, during the Mysterious Book ending, she has no issue with transforming everyone in class into females for the Protagonist's pleasure - or give the Book to an unnamed male student to make him control the entire school. However, this is most likely due to the Book controlling her and not out of her own free will.

Having charmed Sarah, however, prevents this from happening as she'll use a gender change potion on the Protagonist, making the Protagonist the owner of the book once more.

Heroic Route

During the Heroic Route, Jane helps the Protagonist out by using an unnamed spell to let the Protagonist and friends enter Mind Dungeons to fix those that were affected by Drape's curses.

She firsts asks the Protagonist if his/her friend is fine, causing the Protagonist to ask why she asks. She explains she saw them enter Dr. Tiff's room and was presumably worried about what might have happened. She tells the Protagonist to bring someone to help fix Val's mind, to which the Protagonist replies having someone in mind - namely Sarah. Entering Dr. Tiff's room, Dr. Tiff thinks that the Protagonist got another person cursed already. Upon finding out that not to be the case, Dr. Tiff is reluctant towards having Jane help out, but eventually agrees to it.

Sending the Protagonist and Sarah into Val's mind, Jane is constantly channeling the spell in order to keep them in there.

Once done, Jane explains they need to fix Val's mind somehow. After doing so, Jane brings them back out from her mind and heads back to her own room.

Some time later, when Sarah gets targeted by Drape, she once again helps the Protagonist out by using the same spell as before. Upon completeing her mind, she once more brings the Protagonist out.

After fixing Sarah's Mind, she invites the Protagonist and Molly to attend private classes - the Protagonist to learn more about his/her magic, Molly to get enough credits to pass the school year.

The third person to be affected is Julia, causing Jane to once more be required. Should the Protagonist push past Julia, Jane will be in her room. Upon being fixed, Jane will be enslaved by Drape, along with anyone that the Protagonist might have brought along.

If the Protagonist decides to subdue Julia, Jane is waiting in her room for them to come and get fixed. Once done, the Protagonist, Julia and Jane all see Drape about to enter. Upon seeing that Jane has already fixed Julia's mind, Drape leaves. Jane explains that they'll need a way to discredit Drape in public in order to get him fired - she tells the Protagonist to get some rest and she needs some time to form a plan. The Protagonist, somewhat disappointed, says "Alright" upon hearing this.

Enslaving Jane

To enslave Jane, you must complete her first three private lessons without issue.

During the fourth one, when she says "Not today, sweetie" near the end of the scene, the spell icon will appear. Cast Transform to transform into her. Follow this up with the Confuse spell and you'll enslave both her and Molly at the same time.

Next, head to your room for a short scene to play out and you'll revert back to Jane.

Once done, head back to Jane's room and you'll find out she made sure that Molly was enslaved as well.

Slave outfits

Normal

  • She wears blue pants and a green shirt with a yellow undershirt. She has a sharp mind and seemingly no issue with being your slave.

Mindless

  • Her eyes turns blank and she only speaks a few words, wearing the same outfit as normal.

Slut

  • Her breasts grows visibly larger and a few of her buttons on her shirt becomes unbuttoned. She's very outgoing, looking for someone to fuck. Her eyes also seem to get smaller, showing more of the sklera compared to normal.

Professional

  • She gets a purple sweater and a long black skirt, she actually acts like a teacher in this form.

Trivia

  • She is one of four characters with a confirmed first and last name. Despite this, when referred to as 'Ms. Smith' by the students, she tells them to call her Jane. The reason for this is unknown, though it's possible she wishes to feel more familiar with the students.
  • She's the first ebony character in the game and the only ebony teacher.
  • For unknown reasons, she as a kimono identical to Molly's at her house. When asked why, she just says that they shouldn't worry about it. It's possible that, despite being a teacher, she's in love with Molly or simply wants her as a pet.
    • This is further evidenced in "The New Molly" ending, in which the Protagonist turns into Molly. It's implied that Molly is now Jane's pet while the Protagonist takes over working at the Item Shop, not realizing that s/he isn't Molly.
  • She was the fourth - and last - teacher to be added to the game.
  • She has an unknown, unnamed spell that's used to access Mind Dungeons. Her explanation as to why she has it because, despite the fact she specializes in Destructive magic doesn't mean she can't use other kinds of magic.
  • She's the oldest one of the female teachers (confirmed by creator).
  • She plays a minor part at the end of the Mysterious Book plotline, but is required for the New Game + to unlock, making her the second teacher to be important for an ending, followed by Ms. Rack.
  • With a Sex Change Potion costing 10,000 Gems each, she is clearly quite rich as she has enough for the entire class to change gender during the Mysterious Book Ending. Whether she has a hidden fortune, stole them or is simply paid a lot due to being a teacher is unknown.
  • She's the first character to have different dialogue when changing personalities depending on if you're Dan or Rosa (not counting Master/Mistress nor Sir/Ma'am).
  • She's one of multiple characters with only two different slave outfits, with her clothes only changing in her Professional one.
