" ...Not entirely accurate. It reflects who you are at the time that you first gain enough magical power to cast a spell. Your gift does not change as you mature." - Julia
"Gift" is the magic of Adventure High and is something that most people obtain upon touching the sigil on the first floor of the dungeon for the very first time.
According to Victoria, each persons gift reflects who they are, but Julia remarks that it only reflects who they are at the time that they obtained the gift - the gift does not change over time, even if the user changes.
Each character has a different type of gift, ranging from elemental magic to intel type magic or even healing type magic.
A list of gifts is located below, in no specific order.
Protagonist: Giftless - obtains "Control" from Valerie.
Valerie: Change reality - altered to just being able to use elemental magic.
Sarah: Fire/Destructive - upon obtaining the Bubble spell, it's changed to be more elemental based.
Julia: Intel - while unfit for battle, it allows her to find out information about people and monsters alike.
Cassandra: Curse - Due to this, she is unable to use potions on herself, as they cause unintended side-effects.
Molly: Healing - unlike Julia, this is not completely unfit for battle, but she lacks damaging spells and has to find a party to fight back. Luckily, healing spells are always welcome.
Reese: Copy - Can copy two different spells and use them at will.
Ashley: Unknown - seemingly a Physical based gift.
Brittany: Enchantment - she can enchant clothes to enhance stats, making the Protagonist and the others harder to kill, hit harder or last longer in be- I mean last longer in battle!
Erin and Eric: Monster capture - both seem to share this gift and it allows them to produce Chakrams used for monster capture.
Rescue Girl: Unknown - seems to be able to trap monsters, so presumably a physical or debilitating based one.
Angie: Unknown - presumably related to item creation.
Derrick: Item creation.
Victoria: Unknown.
Dr. Tiff: Support. For unknown reasons, she can only use magic when she's angry, mistaking her anger for focus. In her Lust/Love Doctor form, she can use magic without being angry.
Ms. Rack: Physical - it allows her to enhance her body to feel neither pain nor pleasure.
Jane: Destructive - she has a very laid back view of Destructive magic in general, but is aware how powerful it is.
Drape: Debilitating - he has been shown to easily control students and teachers alike along with paralyzing Sarah.
Trivia
- The only two known people to date that did not obtain their Gifts from touching the sigil on the first floor has been the Protagonist (who instead got it from Val) and Julia, who had it prior to touching the sigil.
